WORKING ON KUWAKO

on Tuesday, 20 December 2011. Posted in Mik's Blog

Still no snow! Man. It’s beginning to get a bit windy now but I’m still unsure as of whether or not there is a storm coming. Good thing since my wife and me are driving across Denmark tomorrow to visit the in-laws.
Been working on the next Kuwako-type item, and it seems to be coming along quite nicely. A difficult item to make this one is (said Yoda), but we will crack it eventually. Had quite a few chats about this one with one of our engineers, and as always it’s not only about making it work (something the Chinese forgets) but about making it work, in the optimal way, through the simplest means.

So basically, it’s about getting an idea, tearing it apart before it settles, then redo the idea, and rinse/repeat that process over and over again, until you end up with an “AAAH” moment; and there you have it – the solution you never thought of!

Have a fantastic weekend!
